Will Humans Learn from Mistakes?

The history, over the last 1000 years is marked all over the world and especially in India with disturbances and forceful religious conversions, invasions and expansionism of greater developed nations. Like India, many Asian countries have seen these in-human environments. Common people are left with no peace or joy or freedom to live the way they want to live.
We can quote examples from the history of over 1000 years in India. Internal wars between small and large dynasties, the rise and fall of Shramanic religions, the Clash of Shaivites and Vaishnavites, the Islam invasion and finally British invasion of Christianity. World War I & II marked the maximum stress, worries and starvation for a common human.
The modern evolved 21st-century world provides the freedom of religious practice, consolidation and growth of nations, and cross-border trade. The basic respect for other fellow humans. Invasions were replaced with inventions of electricity to artificial intelligence. Perhaps this is the best time to live on this planet.
But man’s greed and need for power coupled with ego drive the world crazy and to the edge of destruction. An example is the Russia-Ukraine War which took place immediately after the Pandemic. The fundamental issue is, is democracy the best or is communism the best for the world? This is like, is the day best or is the night best? This planet can’t exist without the north pole and south pole.
We can’t paint the whole world as either democratic or communist. What a group of people believe and practice is their freedom as long as it works for them. If it doesn’t work it is for them to reinvent the model to a better one, keeping the common man and the purpose of life in mind.
A fundamental problem today is forcing one’s idea onto another. Let the world be with diversity, which is beautiful. Let us believe and respect each other.
It is extremely difficult to be born as a human being. Having been born as one has the freedom to live on his / her choice without any violence to the self and to other beings.
None of these acts of violence, in the name of religion or expansionism, have led humanity to happiness or prosperity. Trust humans & their rulers, learn from the past and be in the present to make the planet the best place to live and prosper.
